Sometimes described as talkative, bubbly, and sarcastic, meet me, Olivia…the brains behind this operation.
I am a senior at Loyola University Chicago studying Advertising/Public Relations and International Business. Studying in places such as Rome and London, while visiting everywhere in between, (as cheesy as it sounds) I’ve learned so much about myself and the woman I am. From navigating around a massive city or learning different languages, the lessons I have learned thus far are invaluable to the confidence I have gained.
Experience having internships in advertising, social media marketing, and branding public relations, while working part-time for Henri Bendel, has given me the tools of time management and adapting to any situation thrown my way. And now, being Editor-in-Chief of the Odyssey at Loyola University Chicago, I have learned even more leader ship qualities that I know will help me in any level future job.
I strive to be a leading lady in a successful PR agency, a thinker and new idea generator in the healthcare communications field, or an editor of a fashion magazine. Or a professional traveller. Or a cat mom. Or a photographer. Truth be told, I’m still finding my way in the world but definitely having a lot of fun on the journey!
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT LIV
From peonies and orchids to rose and daises, flowers make me happy in an instant. Through my photographic skill and love of florals, I’ve combine the two to create many beautiful pieces of art. Coffee and cappuccinos are my best friends; we hang out every day. Rome is my favorite place, especially the Fontana di Trevi. I enjoy watching baseball (Go Tigers!), learning about Italian culture, writing funny or serious pieces for online publications, traveling all over the world, playing with my chocolate labradoodle, Sophia, and chatting or sending snail mail correspondence with my sweet grandmother.
Though I am from Traverse City, a quaint resort town in lovely Northern Michigan, Chicago is and always will be one of my favorite cities. Chicago is flourishing with beauty and is always introducing me to new adventures.
